About Us

We are a celiac family. After being diagnosed as a celiac, Tom and the family had to go through all the usual problems of a new gluten intolerant. When the nutritionist said no more gluten, that didn’t seem so bad ---- so what is a little gluten? We had no idea of how many labels that would be read over the years, or how many things that could never be eaten again. Even more important is the effect this had on the entire family. If one member can’t eat an item, the rest of the family generally has to suffer and do without. We found many finished products and mixes in our search to satisfy some of our food cravings. What a disappointment! These items were as tasty as cardboard and as gritty as sand, in addition, crumbled in your hands!
